I was young once and now feel used up. I think the institution spits out different flavors if they are not white male or token. Maybe young clergy-types see this and don’t want to be used up by the grinding wheels of the mammoth eating machine. I have been a pastor’s wife and now am a pastor. We are definitely all not on equal footing. Patti
